founded by Shamim Quresh, Koro Gaia is the result of a desire to create skincare that reflected African excellence
Shamim started Koro Gaia out of frustration with the lack of skincare brands that represented African science, stories, and sourcing with integrity. She wanted to prove that effective, luxurious skincare could be made locally, while empowering women, honoring culture, and setting a new standard for what African-made beauty can be.
