Welcome to Koro Gaia. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, online store, and any services offered through www.korogaia.com (the “Site”). By accessing the Site or purchasing our products, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.

1. Use of the Website

You must be at least 18 years old, or using the Site under the supervision of a parent or guardian. You agree not to misuse the Site, interfere with its security, or use it for unlawful purposes.

2. Products & Safety

Our skincare products are intended for external cosmetic use only.
They are not medical products and do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Individual results vary depending on skin type and proper usage.
Customers with sensitive skin, known allergies, or medical conditions should consult a dermatologist before use.
Patch testing is recommended for all new products.

Koro Gaia is not responsible for reactions due to undisclosed allergies, misuse, or failure to follow instructions.

3. Orders & Acceptance

When you place an order, you will receive an email confirmation acknowledging receipt. This does not constitute acceptance.
Koro Gaia may refuse or cancel an order if:

suspected fraud or unauthorised activity is detected
pricing errors occur
an item is unavailable or out of stock
shipping address cannot be verified

If an order cannot be fulfilled, you will be notified and refunded promptly.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in Kenyan Shillings (KES).
Prices may change without prior notice.
Promotional codes and discounts may be time-limited and are subject to conditions.
International customers may incur bank conversion fees depending on their payment provider.
We accept payments through the secure providers displayed at checkout.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery timelines provided at checkout are estimates and not guarantees.
We use trusted third-party couriers; once an order has been handed over to the courier, delays or issues outside our control are not the responsibility of Koro Gaia.
You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
If a package is returned to us due to incorrect address details, you may be required to pay additional shipping fees for redelivery.

6. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Key points:

Returns or exchanges may be accepted under specific conditions.
Products must be unused, unopened, and in their original condition unless defective.
Claims for damaged or incorrect items must be made within 48 hours of delivery with photo evidence.
Refunds (where applicable) will be processed to your original payment method.

Koro Gaia reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet the stated requirements.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including product names, formulations, descriptions, photographs, videos, branding assets, logos, and packaging designs — is the exclusive property of Koro Gaia.
Some visual assets may be licensed from stock providers, who retain their respective rights.

No material may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without our written approval.

8. User-Generated Content

If you tag, mention, or send us content (images, reviews, videos), you grant Koro Gaia a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to repost, share, or use the content for marketing purposes.
You must have the legal right to share the content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law:

Koro Gaia is not liable for allergic reactions, irritation, or issues arising from product misuse or failure to follow instructions.
We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers.
Once an order is confirmed delivered, responsibility transfers to the customer.
Koro Gaia is not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Site is to discontinue using it.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Site, you consent to the processing of your data in accordance with that policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
Any disputes or claims will be handled under Kenyan legal jurisdiction.
